We commonly get calls from clients with desktop laminators with this issue: “When I press the start button, my laminator just beeps, and won’t run.” Or in some cases, it doesn’t make any noise at all; it just doesn’t start running.
Quick and easy explanation: It’s likely the safety system on either the plastic lid or the paper tray.
Check to make sure that the plastic lid or laminate roll cover is properly closed, and the paper tray is in place and latched properly. Once those are both taken care of, your laminator should run just fine.
